By text message
What happens when you call
A trained person answers and listens. You can share as much or as little as you want, and you do not need to be in an emergency to call — they are also there if you feel overwhelmed, very anxious, or just need to talk to someone.
Support is available in Spanish and in more than 240 languages.
What happens when you text
A trained crisis counselor answers by text message, usually within about five minutes. You can write as much or as little as you want, at your own pace, without having to speak out loud. It helps if you are somewhere you cannot make a call.
If you are not in a crisis, but you are not okay
You do not need to be in an emergency to ask for help.

"You do not have to be in an extreme emergency to seek help. A steady light always guides the way toward emotional wellness."

About care at Oasis Mental Care
Oasis Mental Care provides scheduled outpatient psychiatric care for adults ages 21 to 64 with mild to moderate symptoms. We are not an on-call practice, a crisis center, or an emergency facility, and we do not provide 24/7 psychiatric emergency care.
This means our care is not the right fit if you are currently experiencing active suicidal thoughts, a recent suicide attempt, or severe symptoms that need urgent or higher-level care. If that is where you are right now, you deserve support that can respond immediately. Please use the resources on this page, or look for a provider who specializes in crisis care.
